History

Our first policy was issued is 1896 as Farmers Mutual Fire and Lightning Insurance Company of Callaway County. At that time, only polices on farm properties were available. In June of 1960 Farmers Mutual purchased a fire truck for rural fires in Callaway County. The truck was manned and operated by the City Fire Department.
